Travnik and Jajce Trip
Travnik and Jajce Trip From Sarajevo
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sarajevo and head to Travnik, one of the best-preserved cities of the Ottoman Empire. It’s located in an area that is home to 28 buildings protected for their historical and cultural significance.
In Travnik, we’ll visit the Sulejmanija Mosque, also known as the Sarena Mosque, and the two clock towers, which have been keeping locals and tourists on time since the 18th century.
We'll also explore the medieval fortress, where we can enjoy the best views of the city. And don’t forget to try some traditional Bosnian coffee before leaving Travnik.
Next, we'll continue on our way to Jajce, a city of stone and water. Did you know it’s considered one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia? Its castle and historic district, where we’ll come across some waterfalls, will transport us straight back to the Middle Ages.
We’ll also stroll through the city’s most important area, where the Pliva River flows into the Vrbas River, and continue exploring Bosnia’s natural beauty at the Pliva Waterfall and the water mills. It’s breathtaking! Before heading back, we’ll give you some free time for lunch.
Finally, we'll wrap up the tour with our return to Sarajevo. There, we’ll accompany you to your accommodations, where we’ll arrive after 11 hours in total.
